Start in Vis is an event design and production company that emphasizes synergy between creative ideas and well-planned production capable of high level execution.
We, Maja and Puri, are friends and associates, in that order. Our passion is design and event planning. Throughout our careers we’ve been committed to creative design as inextricable from hospitality experience.

Founder
Puri is from Spain. She has a degree in Production of Audiovisual Projects and Shows from San Pablo CEU in Madrid.
She worked in advertising and film production for 10 years before moving to Vis where she opened one of a kind restaurant (Lolavisisland) widely praised for unique connection between space and experience design and cuisine. She lives on Vis with her partner and their three daughters.
Founder
Maja is from Split, Croatia. She is an architect, engineer and interior designer.
A master multitasker, Maja is a prolific project manager in fields as diverse as construction, festival production and interior design. She is a co-owner of the acclaimed Frutarija Bistro—an unavoidable experience on Vis waterfront.
